My passion started with photography, upon taking my dads camera out for the day, much to his reluctance! I then realised that I wanted to do this for a living, and quickly I moved into the video scene, making a lot of action sport videos with my friends up in the hills behind Palmerston North. Through the development of my passion I was lucky enough to be accepted into the NZBS, from which I have learnt valuable skills and professional practices from outside broadcasting for SKY Sports/OSB through to studio work at the NZBS and Whitebait TV on the show What Now! and 2Kaha. 

 

I have been fortunate enough to work a lot with Outside Broadcasting, the sports production team for SKY Sport as a junior tech assist, learning off New Zealands best broadcasters in their respective fields. Through the training I have been given, I have a well rounded set of skills across most aspects of the television production chain. 

 

Through this, my passion for photography has remained and I have covered many events including Christchurch BMX racing, local rugby, national age group hockey, football, and motorcross racing.
